The 6th annual Brockton’s Buskers Festival rolls into downtown Walkerton on Saturday, Aug. 18 and this year Melissa Bendo Orthotics Inc. has been able to sponsor this extremely successful festival.

Professional buskers on the schedule for 2012 include:

  • The Puppet Tamer
  • Inflated Ego Balloon Entertainment
  • The Reptile Party’s Interactive Booth

New this year is a huge 150-foot obstacle course. This will be the biggest inflatable to be set up on the street and will be a ton of fun for everyone! Not just for the kids! A bouncy house and sports challenge will round out the other inflatables.

The festival will run from 10 - 4 p.m. right downtown on Durham St. where kids can take advantage of the day’s entertainment. For just $2 a child and adults free, some of the activities includes:

  • Face painting and tattoo tents
  • Sweet treats - ice cream sundaes, candy floss and popcorn
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides
  • Activities such as a dinosaur dig and fish pond
  • And much more!

Wristbands will be sold in advance at TD Canada Trust and the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce & BIA.

The Buskers Festival is proudly hosted by the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce & BIA and the Walkerton Image Committee and wouldn’t be possible without its many sponsors..
